Rick graduated FDMS in June 1972. He then attended New Mexico State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1977.
Rick was recruited by Department of Defense (DOD), White Sands Missile Range, where he served as a Supervisory Test Engineer (E.E.) for thirty-five years until his retirement in 2012.
Rick and Elva met while employed with Department of Defense (DOD), White Sands Missile Range, NM. They later married and continued their commute to the base for many years. Elva was employed as a Computer Specialist. Both are DOD retirees.
